bugatti is expanding in Canda and USA

bugatti, the label for men's and women's fashion within bugatti Holding Brinkmann, is inaugurating the first two brand outlets in the USA. After the brand was showcased in Boston, it is now being launched in the department store Lord & Taylor since the beginning of October, and even in New York at a separate shop-in-shop showroom directly on 5th Avenue. In this way, bugatti is laying the foundation stone for the expansion of the brand in the American market. Canada forms the starting point for market acquisition in the North American continent with the brand having its presence there since 30 years. The market has been systematically developed jointly with the Canadian marketing agency, SIGA International with its registered office in Toronto. Initially, it was possible to grow in the market with the product range covering coats, jackets and sports coats - since a few seasons now, it has also been possible to establish the multi-product concept of bugatti. Apart from a large number of independent retailers, bugatti is also a regular customer of the owners of the department store chain, Hudson Bay Company. In the meantime, this is where bugatti is represented at the shop-in-shop system at eight locations in Montreal and Toronto. Over and above this, the growth plan envisages the presence of the brand in a total of 15 branches of the department store chain until the end of 2014.

Together with the American subsidiary of the Hudson Bay Company, Lord & Taylor, it was decided to take the step of expanding the sales and marketing activities to the USA given the good level of success achieved in Canada. Thus, the brand is entering the race this autumn with two pilot projects. In Boston, an approx. 100 sq. m. bugatti shop-in-shop was inaugurated in September in the popular Boylston Street in the best location, and this was followed by one at New York in the beginning of October. Here, the bugatti shop is showcased over an area of 80 sq. m. at the 5th Avenue with original bugatti shop furniture and furnishings and a consistent concept of assortment. Both projects are meant to form the basis for comprehensive market acquisition in the USA market. The fashionable orientation, the price-performance ratio as well as the lifestyle approach of the brand bugatti with its accentuated European orientation have proven themselves in the Canadian market. This is why bugatti shall first be established in the East Coast region of USA with the equivalent Canadian taste. Subsequently, it is planned to expand step by step in the westerly direction. The Managing Director, Klaus Brinkmann, had this to say: "We are right at the beginning in the USA. As such, the partnership with Lord & Taylor is of great strategic significance for the international development of the brand."
