bugatti has new store and shop design

First store opens in Gütersloh in August

bugatti, the full-range label owned by the Herford - based fashion manufacturer, bugatti Holding Brinkmann GmbH & Co. KG is presenting its new store and shop design starting with the 2014 autumn/winter season.

This is a completely new development, based on the recently-developed brand model and it reflects the bugatti style values of being "cultivated", "casual" and "chic". The design was developed in collaboration with the Herford-based planning firm, Moysig, that also acts as partner for the entire national and international roll-out  of the concept. Director of marketing, Stephan Horst says: "The specific task of developing a store and a shop design based on lifestyle positioning and bugatti market values in order to promote national and international growth has, in our opinion, been extremely well implemented."

The design is characterised by the loft ambience of the stores and shops. A mix of wood and metal in shop fittings combined with new shapes in furniture takes account of the trend towards a feel-good atmosphere and an emotional appeal in terms of presentation. Open ceilings as well as individual style features such as lamps, carpets and armchairs complete the picture. The design of the changing rooms and accessible shop windows reflects bugatti´s position as the European brand.

Motifs from Europe and the staging of each seasonal European theme appeals directly to the customer. The easy transition from one area of the shop to another makes it possible not only to significantly highlight bugatti core competencies but also to show off outfit concepts in an easily recognisable and targeted way. Business world, outdoor, trousers and shoes all have their own areas while whole outfits are presented on the periphery. Ideally, a bugatti store would be 160 qm in size with the possibility of 120 qm and 200 qm version. bugatti women´s outerwear and textile licensed products such as socks or small leather goods, for instance, are also part of the concept and are an indication of the versatility of the brand.

The shop-in-shop concepts are based on store design and include single products as well as multi-products. Shops selling jackets and trousers are side by side with bugatti business and the bugatti multi-product world. Size here ranges from 15 to 60 qm.

The first partner for the store concept roll-out that will ideally take the form of a franchise partnership is the Finke fashion store in Gütersloh. On Thursday, 28 August 2014 the first 200 qm bugatti store in this new design opens in the newly-bulit residential-commercial building right next to the Finke sports store in Gütersloher town centre.

Klaus Brinkmann, executive partner, says: "We are delighted that in the Finke fashion house we have found a long-term, competent partner for the launch of this new concept. The Finkes are setting an example for expansion in partnership with specialist traders."

bugatti currently has 5 stores in Germany and 15 in other countries.

Two further store projects for Saudi Arabia, in Riad and Jeddah, are in the planning stage and will also open in the autumn of 2014.
