Check handover to Radio Herford: bugatti donates 2,000 euros for LICHTBLICKE
At this year's "Festa di bugatti" summer festival, hosted by Herford-based fashion manufacturer bugatti GmbH, a large raffle was held on August 22nd to raise funds for Aktion Lichtblicke eV. An impressive €736 was raised that afternoon. Bugatti management generously rounded up the total to €2,000 – a fantastic result!
On behalf of the employees, the motivation team presented the check for €2,000 to Pia Walkenhorst, editor at Radio Herford. "We are delighted to be able to support families in North Rhine-Westphalia with our donation. This help goes directly to where it is needed," the group explained at the presentation. Aktion Lichtblicke eV is a joint fundraising campaign by Radio NRW, Diakonie, and Caritas in North Rhine-Westphalia, which is particularly committed to helping families who have fallen into existential hardship through no fault of their own. The organization offers quick and unbureaucratic assistance to make everyday life easier for those affected.
A heartfelt thank you goes to all employees and management for their commitment.
The Motivation team also had the opportunity to submit a music request to Radio Herford. Fittingly for the occasion, they chose "Heal the World" by Michael Jackson – a song that perfectly underscores the message of this commitment.
