75 years of style, attitude and entrepreneurial vision
In 1947, Friedrich Willhelm Brinkmann founded the company, which is now run by the second and third generation of the Brinkmann family. In the more than 75 years of its existence, today's bugatti Holding Brinkmann GmbH und Co KG from Herford has developed into one of the most important clothing companies in Germany and has become a genuine global player. "Marching separately, planning together" was the motto of the founder and is still the guiding principle today. The individual members of the group operate within this framework: bugatti, Eduard Dressler, Wilvorst and Pikeur.
Company founded by FW Brinkmann
Fridrich Willhelm Brinkmann founded a contract manufacturing business for women's and men's clothing in Löhne near Herford on January 6, 1947. Its success led to the launch of his first own collection of coats and trousers just one year later.
Launch of the fashion brand bugatti and trademark registration
The bugatti brand was launched in 1978. Six years later, the first bugatti consumer advertisement took place.
2nd generation - Wolfgang and Klaus Brinkmann
Klaus and Wolfgang Brinkmann take over the management of the group of companies together with their father. In the same year, bugatti and Gore-Tex cooperate for the first time.
Licensing
