75 years of style, attitude and entrepreneurial vision
In 1947, Friedrich Wilhelm Brinkmann founded the company, which is now run by the second and third generations of the Brinkmann family. In its more than 75 years of existence, today's bugatti Holding Brinkmann GmbH and Co. KG from Herford has developed into one of the most important clothing companies in Germany and has become a true global player. "March separately, plan together" was the founder's motto and remains his guiding principle to this day. The individual members of the group, bugatti, Eduard Dressler, Wilvorst, and Pikeur, operate within this framework.
Company founded by FW Brinkmann
Fridrich Willhelm Brinkmann founded a contract manufacturing business for women's and men's clothing in Löhne near Herford on January 6, 1947. Its success led to the launch of his first own collection of coats and trousers just one year later.
Launch of the fashion brand bugatti and trademark registration
The bugatti brand was launched in 1978. Six years later, the first bugatti consumer advertisement took place.
2nd generation - Wolfgang and Klaus Brinkmann
Klaus and Wolfgang Brinkmann, along with their father, take over management of the group. In the same year, rs announces the first collaboration between bugatti and Gore-Tex.
Licensing
